This litter was going to be named after Abba songs, but when Sue saw baby number 5, she said he has to be "Simply Red"... so he is!!!

Consequently his brothers and sisters had a change of names and we tried hard to find them all a name starting with 'S' that would suit them :-)

We would like to thank Maria Shearwood of Miyoda for allowing us to use this wonderful, gentle, teddy bear before they moved to Canada. We believe in this combination he will give, like with all the kittens he has sired, his lovely qualities and fantastic temperment.

Luckily for us, Amelia "First Mummy" Firoza came to help us with the birth.

Amelia must have known she couldn't come until  Friday, as she waited until the early hours of Saturday morning to let us finally see her beautiful babies!

It was a very long night, and we are so glad the long wait is over; but it was definitely worth it!

What an emotional experience it has been for us, to see the birth of our very first litter.

As special as it was, there were a couple of 'panic' moments, but thank goodness Firoza was there to help keep us all calm!! :-)

Thank you so much 'Nanny Fee' - we would have been lost without you! xx
